Real traditional pub, friendly and a nice atmosphere. But only one hand pump.On a recent visit it was a Brains beer.A couple more handpumps and some choice and this would be a great place.

Now has a cask ale available again, which is a guest ale so varies. I've made a point of going in quite often since and have always found it to be a well kept session ale. A nice traditional pub interior too. Now well worth a visit again, probably one of the better pubs in Bury town centre!

One of the best places in Bury. The only true pub left. Lively, safe and popular. Good music. Excellent atmosphere. Friendly staff. If you want to enjoy a drink and dance to something other than the charts - get there.
Excellent music Friday afternoon. Excellent karaoke Friday night. Great singers Saturday night and Sunday afternoon (get there at 5 - that's when it's at its best).
Hearty recommendations for the one place in the town centre that reminds you what a great pub used to be like.

Excellent pub with very good pub food at unbbelievably cheap prices (2 hot baguettes both with chips, 5 for both) efficient service, good jukebox, good beer and generally a good pub. for a quick bite to eat which doesn't break the bank its the best place in bury

An old Bury Classic. Legionares and fusilers from all over north west come here for a great pint. Right in the town Centre, close to all of Bury's other bars and pubs. (Just round the corner from 'the Wylde'-home of Weatherspoon's-Robert Peel, and Wylde's classy Pub/bar. Plus others within easy walking distance (Yate's, Pic, Automatic, O'Neils, Liqid Lounge, S77, The George, Show boat, Sol/Viva Night club, Chicago Rock, Ronnies plus many more of Bury's great town centre pubs/bars and clubs!
