Although Waddies is not my favourite brewery the Horizon here was well kept and there's no getting away from this being another very rateable historical inn in the town. Definitely worth a visit.

Well not the best pub in Pershore but OK. Wadsworth's was a tad on the cold side for me so a bit tasteless. A bit of a sports TV bar for me, plush leather seating in the back but not my style really. Still each to their own and some will probably love it.

Under new management and what a transformation! Now one of my favorite pubs in Pershore. Well kept Wadworth and a selection of ciders. Live music on Friday and other interesting evening pastimes during the week. Let's hope it gets the custom it deserves.

New owners have turned round pub, excellent staff and beer live music on a friday

decent town centre pub, with good range of beers. Lively customers on St Patricks Day with drunken singing. Friendly bar staff. Comfy leathers sofa's.

Closed (again) at New Year 2011 following brawling in the street. Due to open March 2012. Will it shake off its dreadfull image? Let's hope so - it has the potential to be a cracking pub. Watch this space.

Recently changed hands (again) and signs are more promising. Nicely refurbished and back to being a good pub. Awaiting chimney cleaner when I went, in order to start using open fire again, which will be great. Possibly a bit lively at weekends for some of us. Good Wadworths. Same owners as The Angel, but less frightening prices.

I drink lager in the Millers on the rare occasions I go there, and that's usually pretty bad too. If you want a decent pint, my advice is go to the Brandy Cask (brews it's own beer), which is about 100 metres further up Bridge Street. Also give the Angel a try - decent Bombadier although but a bit expensive.

I had exactly the same experience as the last comment - a dreadful pint of Horizon. I wrote to Wadworth, They didn't bother to reply. A place to be avoided!

Called in here whilst on holiday. The place itself looked promising but the beer and service were quite simply appalling.
We ordered two pints of Wadsworth Horizon. It was quite clearly off, with that cidery quality you get with beers that are well past their best. When we took them beck, the landlord told us that there was nothing wrong with the beer. This was backed up by a group of locals all of whom, bar one, agreed that there was nothing wrong with the beer. We ordered two pints of something else (for which we were charged), and whilst we were drinking them, we noticed the landlord furtively sloping off into the cellar, from which various clankings suggested that a barrel was being changed!
One to avoid.

Called in to try Wadworths Bishops Tipple. While my pint was being pulled it ran out so barman nipped to cellar to change barrel. He came back and tried to pull the pint again. Nothing! He ran back to the cellar, came back, tried again. Nothing! Again he went to the cellar, returned and this time pulled the pint. He announced he'd put an empty barrel on. A disappointing pint after all that, hazy, not worth the wait.

Called in to see what was on offer from Wadworth, and it was really quiet with few customers despite it being lunchtime. Asked for Bishops Tipple and it was not really clear. The pub itself could be quite cosy with some armchairs and sofas in the room, but the quality of the real ale needs to be improved.
