Tom Sawyers Tavern, West Looe

Not been in for ages then went in a few weeks ago which is the first time since the Landlord/Landlady moved in from the Jolly Sailor. Not only did they look very well and were welcoming, the place looks loads better. I was on Cider that day but next time will check out the ales. You wont get a beer garden with better views in Looe! Might even check the food out next time as it looked and smelt lovely!

The Salutation Inn, East Looe

Good pub and good food at a good price. When the Doom Bar is on form, there is no-where better!!!! A good all year round pub.... watch you head on the way in (if you want some entertainment, sit in the window next to the door at the height of the tourist season!) OUCH!

Wipe your feet on the way out!

The Dolphin, Plymouth

This is a proper pub - as good as it gets. None of your posh stuff in here, just real life, full of characters and a good pint of bass. I always recommend the dolphin when we organise work doos out..... I finished there on my stag night right next to Captn Jaspers - also know for the finest food in the world! - A Jasperiser is worth a stab after half a dozen pints of bass - a proper plymouth night out!

The Kings Arms, York

Every time I go to York (which is not that often living in Cornwall, but still managed at least a dozen times in the past 10 years or so) I always go in here for a pint of Samuels. Always a good pint but sometimes is difficult to find a place to sit, especially in the summer due to the tourists (and I am one of them!) been there once on Bonfire night and was amazing to be in the city that night, a real special atmosphere, spooky buy amazing!

The Belper Arms, Newton Burgoland

I like the belper - pity the ghost corner was moved though as I used to take visitors in to show them. Usually a good pint - a beautiful pub inside, especially on a cold winters night. Last twice I have been in there there has been snow on the ground! special place......

Three Horseshoes, Whitwick

Not been in Pollys for years but will do when I go back to Leicester in the winter. Agree that this pub is one of the best pints of Pedigree you will have the pleasure of tasting! A real pub!!!!

Three Crowns, Whitwick

Used to be a good pub, although the landlord was a Derby fan....
Not been in for many years though but I bet there are the same faces if I was to go in again. Only food I remember was pork scratchings and crisps. Watched some memorable England matches in there though - good memories!

The Globe, East Looe

We love the globe - best pub in Looe!
Good beer (especially when Bettys is on) fantastic value food (especially Sunday roast) and usually something going on.
Good landlady/landlord/staff. No worries about taking the children in and comfortable. One of the only pubs in East looe you can sit out in the evening in the sunshine!
