Nice enough place. I was taken straight here by my excellent tour guide to let me unwind after the train journey.

Sat outside and took in the lovely view. Pint of Tribute was fine. Be sure to go right inside and look round as the hand pumps are at the far side of the bar.

It is the only pub in Hannafore "round the corner" from West Looe. Lovely position and a great view over Looe Bay towards the Rame Head. We were staying round the corner so it was a nice local. Friendly landlord who came for a chat when we first came in (I believe he used to run The Jolly Sailor in West Looe).

Doom Bar and Tom Sawyers Tipple were good beers. Tried the lasagne on the evening we ate. Large portions, tasty and good value.

Not really a "pub" pub, but a useful watering hole where you can have a pint with one of the best views to look at.

Had best Sunday Carvery for a long while here, absolutely rammed out so booking advisable. Has the best views in Looe and two stunning Bed and breakfast rooms with all glass frontage looking over Looe Bay and St Georges Island. Three real Ales when I visited Doom Bar, Courage Best and Tom Sawyers Tipple. Made very welcome.

I wasn't really expecting too much here - and I was right. Too much like a hotel - quiet and soulless.
Did not stay, but wouldn't have minded trying the Tom Sawyer Ale.

Not been in for ages then went in a few weeks ago which is the first time since the Landlord/Landlady moved in from the Jolly Sailor. Not only did they look very well and were welcoming, the place looks loads better. I was on Cider that day but next time will check out the ales. You wont get a beer garden with better views in Looe! Might even check the food out next time as it looked and smelt lovely!
