this was a good pub, i was in there alot it has gone down hill in the last two years, landlady does not care about the pub anymore or the customers ,as long as she has a drink in her hand, she needs to cheer up and talk to the customers and serve them, not leave customers at the bar and run over the betting shop.

I NOW ONLY USE TO SPOON PUBS IN CROYDON NOW HERE AND SKYLARK BOTH KEEP ALES GOOD, POPPED IN ON TUESDAY HAD STEAK CLUB WITH ALE 10/10. NEW MANAGER HAS MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE HERE PUB IS 100% JUST LIKE THE ALES

OUT SHOPPING ON FRIDAY, POPPED INTO THE SHIP OF FOOLS, GOOD PINT OF PURE GOLD 10/10, ALES ARE KEEPED WELL IN THIS PUB ALWAYS 2 OR 3 ,ON PLUS 5 HOUSE ALES WILL POP IN AGAIN

HI SLERPY YOU SEEM TO LIKE THE MANAGER FROM THE SKYLARK NOW AT THE GEORGE. ANOTHER FREE PINT WELL DONE, THE LAST MANAGER WAS GREAT, BEERS GOOD ,THE NEW MANAGER WILL HAVE TO WORK HARD AND KEEP BEERS A LOT BETTER THAN HE DID IN THE SKYLARK ANYWAY I AM OFF TO THE SKYLARK FOR A PINT OF GUEST ALE. SLERPY WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT I STOPPED USING THE SKYLARK BECAUSE THE ALES WERE BAD AND STARTED GOING TO THE GEORGE NOW THE MANAGERS HAVE MOVED AROUND I AM BACK AT THE SKYLARK AND THE ALES ARE GREAT ALES AT THE MOMENT 10/10 DID YOU GET A FREE PINT FOR YOUR COMMENTS

WENT TO THIS PUB LAST NIGHT NOT THE BEST NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN, THE MANAGER WAS DRUNK BEHIND THE BAR WHICH IS NOT GOOD. THE BEER WAS NOT THE BEST WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

DOES NOT HAVE MUCH ATMOSPHERE ,COULD DO WITH SOME YOUNGER CUSTOMERS. HAD A PINT OF SPECIAL WAS NOT THE BEST, TOLD THE STAFF AND JUST GOT WILL EVERYONE ELSE IS DRINKING IT.I LEFT MY PINT AND WENT DONT THINK I WILL BE RETURNING

i had a pint of naked lady in here on Monday and it was rotten, i thought i was going to get a knife and fork with the pint and have my dinner it had so many bits floating in it,i told the barmaid and she just looked at me she did'nt want to change it ,after asking 3 times to change she was very rude and said what do you want then, i said i will have my money back , i waited another 10 mins for this so called manager to give me my money back he just chucked the money on the bar , the place was so untidy. I keep reading slerpy comments and it does make me laugh , he must get a FREE PINT everytime he puts a comment on ,compared to the other wethersponns in Croydon this one needs sorting out ,i dont know who the manager is but slerpy is his best mate .slerpy try the other pubs around there much better than this one
