The George, Croydon

i had a pint of naked lady in here on Monday and it was rotten, i thought i was going to get a knife and fork with the pint and have my dinner it had so many bits floating in it,i told the barmaid and she just looked at me she did'nt want to change it ,after asking 3 times to change she was very rude and said what do you want then, i said i will have my money back , i waited another 10 mins for this so called manager to give me my money back he just chucked the money on the bar , the place was so untidy. I keep reading slerpy comments and it does make me laugh , he must get a FREE PINT everytime he puts a comment on ,compared to the other wethersponns in Croydon this one needs sorting out ,i dont know who the manager is but slerpy is his best mate .slerpy try the other pubs around there much better than this one

good choice of ale in the ship the last few weeks ,i am really looking forward to the ale fest, also pub has got in the good beer guide this year, well done keep the good work up

this was a good pub, i was in there alot it has gone down hill in the last two years, landlady does not care about the pub anymore or the customers ,as long as she has a drink in her hand, she needs to cheer up and talk to the customers and serve them, not leave customers at the bar and run over the betting shop.
