please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

It was only the modern extension that was demolished but the site has now been converted to private housing (the pub lettering is still visible on one of the houses).

Currently closed - the last landlady's son and his girlfriend were recently jailed for life for murder, I kid you not. It was awful when it was open but a change of ownership and a reopening may breathe some life back into it.

Was on holiday when called at this pub with couple of mates last week found the place to be not very nice. The whole place looked dark, dingy and dirty and the lager they served wasnt the best, real tang to it and served in dirty glass. Will not be going back.

This is one of the only 'old style, spit n sawdust' pubs left in town (there is literally spit & sawdust on the floor). Though that may all change soon as it's being sold.
Child & dog friendly, there's no food served.

Nasic pub with a mall bar and lounge. Does lunchtime food. Friendly enough when I went in, but beer not up to much.
