We spent a lovely January evening here with friends from Sheringham.. large, friendly pub with a great (wholesome) food menu, that also specialises in gluten free dishes.. pie was amazing! Green king IPA. And a nice Fireside winter beer, plus Speckled hen on hand pull.. recommended..

The Red Lion Hotel, Cromer

Wow! Don't know why I hadn't been here before, but what a find.. firstly, feels like stepping back in time to a more celubrious era... Stunning bar to the right, with massive windows looking over the Pier and endless panoramas of the North Sea..Restaurant to left, both dog friendly... At least 10 real ales, Moongazer, Lacons, woodfords, Adnams, Oakham etc etc.. heaven... We sat in bar and hand an amazing, well priced curry... the opulent staircase to the hotel rooms looked spectacular, and we'll be looking at staying... give this place a visit!!!

The Pavilion Theatre Bar, Cromer

Even if your not watching a show, it's Definitely worth a walk along the Pier to The Pavillion Theatre Bar... They had 3 Lacons beers (Affinity, Encore & Legacy) on in Jan 2024 when I visited.. It was open on a Thursday lunch, and we chose plastic glasses and took in the sea air outside... Stunning looking back at the quirky (almost gothic) elevated Victorian streets and buildings above the Pier entrance..Go and check out the 'Banksy' mural on the sea wall at the end of the beach huts to the North... some vandalism and taking a pounding from the elements, but impressive...
