The Ring of Bells, Ledbury

This is one of the only 'old style, spit n sawdust' pubs left in town (there is literally spit & sawdust on the floor). Though that may all change soon as it's being sold.
Child & dog friendly, there's no food served.

The Full Pitcher, Ledbury

I visit this pub regularly & have had several 'last minute' parties there. The Landlady is quick to organise such things and the kitchen caters for some of the fussy eaters I've taken in. There is usually a wait for food but then it isn't microwaved!! The accompliments to each order are cooked fresh (& most of the mains). I've seen impatient clients walk out just as their food is served as they didnt expect to wait 25minutes for new potatoes to cook.
The Landlord and Landlady are always willing to go the extra mile to build a community atmosphere to the premises. Regular events occur, last year there was a free face painter for all children (and some adults actually)
There is a bouncy castle and climbing frame in a 'child designated' area, along with pigs, goats & variety of birds. (There were rabbits & chickens but someone stole them).
I cannot see why there are so many negative reports about this place. It is friendly to locals and new comers alike, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. And the Sunday roasts are absolutely fantastic!
The only reason they dont score the full 10/10 is because they have had some problems with staff
