The Dragons Head, Llangenny
The visit to the Dragon's Head is simply a joy. This unspoiled country pub located in a tranquil small village by a river. The freshly cooked homemade food was delicious and generous. The Welsh fillet steak was the best steak I ever had in the UK! It was so fresh and so tender (the meat comes from local farm) - I have had it medium-rare but I will have it rare next time. A pot of peppercorn sauce is extra but it's well worth it, especially with the saut� potatoes. The local ales and cider, a comfy sofa by the wooden fire, a warm welcome by the friendly staff ... I must return there!!!
