The Yanwath Gate Inn, Yanwath

Dropped in for a bite to eat Saturday evening quite an upmarket menu so I settled for the Rabbit on the specials board and the better half opted for the Dover Sole food was very good tried a couple of local ales which were ok
This place needs to decide if its a pub or a class eatery it doesn't have the feel of a local or a restaurant
No complaints about the food or the service very attentive staff prices were I thought a little on the pricey side

The Queens Head Inn, Tirril

Stayed for a couple of nights very pleasant staff nice breakfast beer was ok sleep ruined by a group of local herberts drinking outside the front Effing and Blinding for a couple of hours late at night and the annoying electric macerators in all of the rooms that go off every 10/15 mins JUST ADJUST THE BALLCOCKS AND STOP THE WATER OVERFLOWING
The sausage festival was on so no other food avaliable did my best to work through the large variety but had to admit defeat after 12 and only managed 13 of the real ales
We will go back later in the year when it should be a bit quieter
