The Reindeer Inn, Hoveringham

Absolutely great little pub, serving excellent food (rare roast beef for Sunday lunch - so difficult to find in pubs generally!) and a good selection of beer. Dinning room for the eaters, very snug bar with open fire for the drinkers. Dog friendly - I'm not a dog owner myself, but I found that the couple of dogs that made themselves very much at home by the fire, on the Sunday afternoon that we were there, were a very welcome addition to the assembled company. Looks quite unprepossessing from the outside, but do venture beyond the carpark, its a real gem.
