Came here after recommendation from a friend. Must endorse his quote to me about real ales correctly served by staff who know the product they are selling. Nice change that. Saturday night was great with good entertainment and enough staff to keep everyone efficiently served.(Wetherspoons take note).Highly commended.

What a great place good beer great food What more can you ask for. Staff are lovely and a really good atsmophere.

The Penrhyn Arms, Penrhynside
The score of 9 is completely overating this back of beyond establishment. My pint was hazy and flat as a pancake. Temperature of 16C does not allow true flavour to develop apart from alpha acid of the hop. Cross over the road next time you're in the area (the clue is in the wording)
