The Black Bull, St Helens

the food is dreadful, very over priced and not for the big eaters as plates are so small you can barely fit 3 spuds on when having the carvery.Not much choice in veg and very basic but chewy options . The management barely notice your there, no smiles no welcoming no nothing, rather rude!! Considering the black bull used to be a very popular and friendly pub, its turned into a wanna be wine bar which is in desperate need of customers!!! would rather go up the road to the bird ith hand, least the landlord greets you!
