The Three Pigeons, Guildford

Great to see this place back as the Three Pigeons. Not many proper pubs in the town centre any more. I do however get the impression the landlord has had a sense of humour bypass. I have started going there regularly and have never had a smile out of him.. Apart from that it is quite a pleasant place to go for a few beers. The food's not too bad either. Excellent range of sausages.

The Royal Oak, Guildford

Stroller took the words out of my mouth with this place. Used to be a very good pub, but has gone so downhill. It can be difficult working out who is on duty to serve you a drink!! You then get sighed at when they have to get up off their seat to do it.. The only way of getting a clean table is to ask them for a cloth and do it yourself!!
