Would have stopped here but there isn't a beer garden on a sunny day. More of a Winter Pub. BestBeerBoffin - 3 Jun 2017 18:15 |
Reopened on the High Street by Stonegate, who did an excellent job on the tasteful refurbishment of this historic establishment. tradervic - 24 Mar 2017 08:19 |
It isn't that often I walk into a pub then decided to leave after 2 minutes. Quite clearly the woman working here ignored me as I politely said Good Day and was blanked. There wasn't even many people at the bar on a Saturday afternoon near Christmas. I believe someone else was also wanting a drink and being ignored. Certainly poor service, and it happened months ago when eating a meal here, sorry I cannot forgive this pub for at least 3 months! 0/10 for now!. BestBeerBoffin - 10 Dec 2016 18:23 |
Visited here the other day and it was being refurbished. Nothing interesting about a pub being refurbished unless it will eventually be better. HeavyBeerPubDrinker - 19 Aug 2016 16:16 |
Lovely historic pub with great character. Several interesting ales on, both local and from further away. Unfortunately none of the tables suit groups of more than four persons. Trev - 1 Aug 2014 18:51 |
