The Staple Hill Oak, Staple Hill
this pub is a regular haunt of ours though i'm not too sure why. lager served in beer /cider glasses that is flat and when you ask for a lager glass you may as well be asking for the world. dont expect prize winning beer cos its not. the place could do with a complete refurb its nothing like the many decent wetherspoons that are available in other town & cities. stopped eating there as the food often comes out cold on cold plates.

The Mount Pleasant Inn, Dawlish Warren
Just spent new years eve at the mount. fabulous evening at a reasonable price, the food was very good as was the service. The owner /landlord and their families are welcoming, as are the bar staff. Fantastic views during the day. An old traditional looking pub with traditional values. We've spent many evenings here with various friends and always been made to feel welcome.

The Welcome Inn, Dawlish Warren
Its been taken over and despite the lick of paint still needs a major makeover. not enough punters to keep the beer fresh.
