The Aleksander, East Twickenham

I find the previous comment about the manager very difficult to believe, going there quite regularly myself and having had many a conversation with him.

The pub does good beer, although doesn't rotate them that often and the food's good and reasonably priced, too.

The Golding Hop, Plaxtol

A great pub, with good beer. A shame my last visit was ruined by the attitude of the landlord who refused to let me taste the guest bitter.
