The Guinea, Mayfair

I agree with one critic saying saying seriously rude staff and indeed a group of us had to complain that they served the Pilsner way below the line and they retorted that as it was a continental pour, and that was fine.....finally they relented that the froth did not form part of the imperial pint!!
They merely said it was best to have a real ale point if we wanted a genuine pint ...no apologies given...at well over 4 a pint we felt a pint is what we deserved!

Horse Guards Inn, Petworth

Failry discerning in our food reuqirements and this pub was superb under what seems to be a newish landlord.

Great character pub-restaurant with atmosphere in beautiful location and not too expensive either.

The Red Lion, Fernhurst

Some may be correct on the small choice of beers but we do not drink real ale so cannot really comment.
Astonished by some of the comments here as we regularly use the pub now over all the others in the entire area around Haslemere as the food is such good value with generous portions and a very cosy friendly atmosphere.

The curries particularly are extremely good ehre when they have them and a superb chef.
