just had a lunch time couple of pints and terrible is all i can say, no real ale selection, gaudy interior and horrible black and nasty repaired leather cornor sofas, tired interior, and weird mix of cheap vetriano prints and new york skycraper worker photso ?? is this not a kent country pub

worse thing is though, im a happy chap, but land lady and other female staff miserable as sin, i never got as much as a smile or a thank you

but... guess what if your a regular or local, im only 12 miles away but obviously not local enough, if your a local you get chat, banter grins smikles and all the other gumpf that youd expect from the owners of a pub that should be very gratefull of any custom.

i really wont bother with this pub again and was recce ing it fo going to have my last nights meal before i go back to afgan later this week as on leave.

thanks rising sun, i think i would rather go back to helmand naffi !!!!
