The Queens, Stoke Pound

We ate here and cannot fault the food or service. Wye Valley guest was superb (IPA). The lunchtime backround music was somewhat annoying (unless you are under 20!). We have eaten at their sister pub (the Greyhound in Bromsgrove) and are impressed with that too.

The Leathern Bottle, Lewknor

Having aqquired a dog within the last year, walking has had to become a necessary part of life. And aren't I glad too! This smashing pub ticks all the boxes..dog friendly..easy parking..great walks..and the beer was perfect (Brakespears Special as guest) and the food was 10/10..But don't call the barmaid/landlady JANET !!

The Coburg, Liverpool

I totally agree with Mr Monkfish . I have been in here twice (staying at local hotel) and both times found the staff and locals friendly and welcoming. Shame there isn't some trad ale, but will deffo go back regardless
