The Coppingham is still a pleasant place to drink, the fact that there is no real ale is more down to the brewery and not the owners. It is a clean and bright vibrant place where you can go and have a laugh and a drink and a fantastic meal in the Jai Ho (resturant side) if you want to, how perfect is that! The staff go out of their way to be pleasant whether you stay for a meal or not. If you do stay and have a meal or collect a take away the food is outstanding and produces by far the best Fusion food in at least a twenty mile radius of Horley. As far as the prices go, the lager is not any higher in price than any of the independants in Horley, the house wine is exceptional quality and is priced very reasonably. True is you are looking for the old traditional pub, you are probably better off going elsewhere, but want to try a meal you won't forget give it a go!!

The White Horse Inn, Stogumber
This beautiful Inn has been taken over by a lovely couple who are proper publicans, the local beers are fantastic and they have a good selection of local ciders too. The food is excellent and sourced locally whenever possible, tasty dishes are on the menu, lovely homely roasts on Sundays, and scrummy home made puddings. The restaurant gets very busy so ensure you book. The While Horse has letting rooms which have been updated to a excellent standard and you can have the best full english breakfast ever! The locals are lovely and the staff at The White Horse are very helpful and friendly too. Stogumber is a stunning village well worth the visit.
