The Good Intent, Puttenham

Lunchtime visit - excellent range of ales, food very good and reasonably priced. Only downside was that bar staff were more interested in their mobile phones than serving customers. Still worth a visit though.

The Harrow Inn, Compton

The pub with no beer!!!
Went to this "pub" on a hot Sunday evening. Asked for a pint of bitter, only to be told that they had sold out. Reluctantly decided upon a pint of Fosters. Surprise surprise. They had sold out. Asked the barman to tell us what, if anything, they did have. Was served a pint of Stella and told that there was not much of that left. The Enterprise Inns ordering system was blamed for lack of beer.
Sat outside. Went back inside to get some crisps and the pub was deserted. Got served after five minutes. Barman was outside talking to friends. Had to go and get him.
This used to be a lovely pub and could be again. Needs new management and a decision on whether it is a pub or a restaurant (for teetotallers).
