The Merchants Inn, Rugby

Rugbys #1 stand out Town Centre pub.

Staggers me that this pub is not emulated by anyone else in Rugby, as this pub is large and generally packed at the weekend.

Superb ales, and one of the best ranges of Ciders in the Midlands.

Raglan Arms, Rugby

Agree location is just off the centre, but this is a really superb real ale pub, with proper traditional boozer decor.

If you're visiting Rugby for real ale, this would be one of the top 3 boozers.

The Orchard Inn, Bristol

Well with over 20 Ciders to choose from where could you go wrong.... If you don't know your ciders...very wrong.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this city pub (tucked away from the thronging crowds) but scored it as 9 because a bit of early guidance on the Cider would have scored it a 10.
Cheap food too.
Very interesting local clients, sometimes a bit rowdy, but fun.
