I agree with RugbyHooker (below comment). I have been to the Racehorse
before the management change in June 2010 and always found the food very nice. Unfortunately I cannot say the same since the takeover... today was my 3rd visit since the re-opening and to be honest what a huge disappointment it was again. The food was shockingly bad this time (I had Lasagna, which to be honest looked like it had been sitting around all day, was soggy, the 'cheese' on top appeared to be curdled and was awful in taste. If I were a Chef I would be embarrassed to have served this to anyone). The food served to me was not edible and had to be sent back (this is the first time I have ever sent a meal back!). The food is also very very over-priced for what you get.
It is a shame as this is my local pub/restaurant and I have to say that I will not be going back again.
