Lion Hotel, Leintwardine

Been here a few times since it re-opened and it looks very smart, although a bit bright on the lighting side. It could make it a little more intimate and warm by some more subtle lighting. Easten in the restaurant twice and once in the bar area. Food standard is very good, but it is a bit nouvelle cuisine - hungry when you've finished?

The Corners Inn, Kingsland

Popped in for a drink a few times here and always enjoyed it. I like the bar and how it is decorated. Never packed or busy. Noticed the restaurant had been going down in numbers for a while, but my last visit was a few months back. I'd love it for a local.
