The Chancellors, Hammersmith

Small pub in sidestreet , friendly enough.
Famously opens at 10.30am with sad old gits normally called Robin already queueing up waiting to buy their Gin and Tonics.
Very pleasant in summer sitting outside the front of the pub in the sunshine by the Thames.

The Old Suffolk Punch, Hammersmith

Not much atmosphere , just seems to have people on their way home from work or during work breaks.
Surely the worst pool table I've ever seen , looks like it's been puked on and is unplayable , yet to see someone behind the bar that's not French or Polish.

The Duke of Cornwall, Hammersmith

A decent refit with friendly staff , never going to be a locals pub though as it's invaded at least twice a week by the fans of whoever is playing at the Apollo, so ok if it's Busted etc put pretty gruesome if it's Slipknot.
Having said that it's way preferable to the library quietness of the Distillers or the OSP , it's got a top class jukebox which will always be turned up on request , and a couple of pool players capable of clearing from the break.
