The Anchor Inn, Godalming

Ok Franklyn, what's your problem with this place?

You've made a total of 8 reviews in 2 years, 5 about the Anchor, everyone NEGATIVE (makes me wonder why you keep going back, or did you go once and hold a grudge?)

In fact, the only POSITIVE review you've made is about the King Alfred in Godalming�

The Outback, Whitehill

This pub has been taken over by a team of Ex-Gurkhas and what a wonderful change they've made. It's now a pub (and restaurant) that you'd be happy taking your mother to.

Beautiful Gurkha (Nepalese) food, decent beer and a comfortable atmosphere. The pub operates with a bar in one half, and the restaurant in the other, so you're very welcome to stop for just a beer.

Highly recommended, just what the town needs.
