The Cricketers, Hartley Wintney
Called in with some friends for a (discounted) dinner. The place has lost some character since we were last there (French tenants last time?) but the current staff were very friendly and welcoming and the pub itself very warm and cosy. The food wasn't bad either.
However what did suprise me was the range of beers on offer. There were 4 handpumps inc the common Courage Best and Bombardier. There other 2 were more interesting - Thwaites Wainwright and Caledonian Flying Scotsman. With the Waggon and Horses around the corner this gives Hartley Wintney a couple of good boozers.
Note that I cannot recall the beer prices in the Cricketers but suspect they were quite high.

The Waggon and Horses, Hartley Wintney
Called in for a quick pint and sandwich. Great traditional boozer. A real fire, two jack russell terriers, friendly people and a couple of pints of Mordue Five Bridge(s). Also on were the ubiquitous Courage Best and Doombar. Gales HSB I think was the other guest. A dying breed.

The Jolly Sailor, Farnham
A quick review. New tenants for a couple of months now. 6 handpumps still on 3 are Green King (not tried) and 3 guests (under Green King's Local Hero scheme). Tried the guests and all in very good nick indeed. Food loos like good value - e.g. pub classics £6-£7 (excellent for Farnham). Some rooms are being done up for B&B puroposes. Comfortable inside and decked area by the side. Fantastic.
