The Dragons Head, Llangenny

We visited for lunch on bank holiday monday recently, the choice of food was varied with highlighted home made choices. I had the home made steak and ale pie, followed by home made rhubarb crumble - both were gorgeous, in fact I have never seen a pie with so much tender, melt in your mouth steak in it before! My partner had lovely thick ham, egg and chips. My daughter, being a vegetarian had a good choice of menu too. We didn't realise that they do not take debit or credit cards until too late, but the lady behind the bar (the owner) said that it was not a problem and we could set up a tab and drop the money in another time. A very friendly pub - we will definitely be visiting again.
