The Blackmore Vale Inn, Marnhull

Had Sunday Lunch (21/10/07). Complete lack of welcome, we had to work hard to get seated dispite there being only one other table occupied. Service slow and indifferent. Food OK when it arrived - potatoes and yorkshire both burned. Took 40 minutes and 2 attempts to get plates cleared. Had lost the will to live by time for dessert and so had other table but entertaining cracking jokes with other customers at pubs expense. Serving staff totally ineffectual. In summary - food just about OK, management dire
