New owners since I last visited and what a difference. We went for Sunday lunch on the 3rd Nov 07 and were glad we did. The pub is welcoming, clean and the food is simply superb. Most impressed by the friendly service and the menu is excellent. We will definately be back soon. roobee - 8 Nov 2007 19:19 |
Had Sunday Lunch (21/10/07). Complete lack of welcome, we had to work hard to get seated dispite there being only one other table occupied. Service slow and indifferent. Food OK when it arrived - potatoes and yorkshire both burned. Took 40 minutes and 2 attempts to get plates cleared. Had lost the will to live by time for dessert and so had other table but entertaining cracking jokes with other customers at pubs expense. Serving staff totally ineffectual. In summary - food just about OK, management dire menna - 22 Oct 2007 10:46 |

Heard so much about the food at this place - thought we should try it for ourselves. Surely couldn't be as good as people are saying!? Truley fantastic food - great choice, excellent portions, even looked pretty on my plate! Almost too good to eat. My husband assures me his beer was amongst the best he's ever tasted. Too much fursty ferret meant I had to drive him home - perhaps we had too good a night. Definately one to visit again! anonymous - 22 May 2006 22:59 |
