The Half Moon, Cuxham

What a great little pub. Small and very friendly. Food absolutely fantastic. Although I suggest you book if you do want to eat as it's very popular. Only down side is the lack of real ale. But I highly recommend this pub.

The Lions of Bledlow, Bledlow

Lovely Pub. Lovely location. Great views outside. Inside all wood and fantastic large real fire. Good condition of beer and good selection. Sadly let down by polite but cold staff and the food? Don't bother ordering. It was expensive and the quality was awful. The rib eye steak was over �13 and was tough and mostly overcooked with frozen chips. Cottage pie looked meatless or was equivalent to tesco blue stripe meat and sloppy, watery mash what their was of it and a crusty burnt top. Such a shame, if it wasn't for the staff and food this would be a fantastic proper old english pub. A double shame, as Freehouses have a tough enough time anyway. Scored low due to staff and food only.
