The George, Finchdean

Had a lovely pint of Youngs Special in here the over day. Pub has a really great setting but is let down by a few small things, such as the cheap feel of the outside furniture, the fact that ice cream desserts are brought in little silver metal bowls (the like of which I haven't seen since Pontins in the mid 80s), the inside is looking a bit tired and behind the bar it's quite tatty, and the debit card machine wasn't working.

The George, Petersfield

Used to go to this pub a couple of years ago on a fairly regular Sunday brunch basis. Concur with comments re beers, generally interesting selection but I think the place has gone downhill a little. Despite banners plastered all over the place advertising waitress service till 3pm, that, as I found out wasn't the case and when food came it was mediocre and not really worth the money. Tables were dirty and the back courtyard garden populated with braying hooray henriettas. Won't be going back for a while.
