The Henty Arms, Ferring

Visited this pub a few months ago for lunch but left early when the bar staff had a screaming match in front of the customers over boyfriends and who should be doing what in the restaurant. Decided to return there this week as is within walking distance of my parents place. Yep lets just say home cooked food dosn't necessarily mean good. There is plenty of food, the prices are average for a pub but there are just as good or even better deals from other pubs nearby. I opted for boozy fish and chips. Chips great but batter was soggy on the fish so didn't eat it and the steak pie was overcooked with burnt pastry and overcooked veg. Nice staff, no arguments this time but think there are some other pubs nearby also worth trying (tudor close and seaview at east preston).
