The White Horse Inn, Framlingham

A great place to drink with average food. It can also get very busy at the weekends helped by regular discos, karaoke and live bands. However, there are problems with this. It is a very much a younger persons pub so not many people eat there and as there is very little money in selling just drink then that is probably why they are having to sell. It is a shame because the owners are nice people.

The Castle, Framlingham

This pub has the potential to be the best pub in Framlingham as it is the best location. Tourists worldwide visit Framlingham Castle each year. The pub is let down by its food menu and until recently had no local drinks. The pub can also get a bit overcrowded and rowdy in the evenings. It is a shame really because the pub has so much potential being right next to the Castle. Improve the menu and quality and it will become a must-go-to attraction like the castle.

The Station Hotel, Framlingham

The Station Hotel is the nicest place in Framlingham to eat, has a great selection of local drinks, and is not undermined by the younger crowd. The only things that let this pub down are its location, it is very much for the older generation (although some would argue that is a good thing) and it is quite small. The best pub in Framlingham for a quiet drink and nice meal. The Crown Hotel is getting better but the bar staff or food aren't as nice as The Station Hotel.
