The Beehive, Vauxhall

I visited this pub for a bite to eat and I'm afraid I thought it was RUBBISH. I was greeted with a face like the back end of a bus. The bar staff were rude, uninterested and gave the impression that they really did not want to be there. I dont think that gives much of an impression about this place.

What is disappointing is that this pub is actually very smart. Nice decor, good space almost trying too hard. the fundamental point is behind that cover lies a poorly run establishment. The food is nothing tho shout about. The bar staff cannot even deliver a coffee to the customer. Absolutely awful.

I usually do not take the time to comment about places I visited but I felt I had to post something on this occsion. There are a limited number of establishments in oval to explore. My advice is to go towards kennington - fantastic food, service, very original pubs - somrthing which the Beehive isn't. - reflected in the dull atmosphere made up by no more than a handful of people on my visit.

Disappointing for a pub that is well placed next to the oval round. poor in all areas.
