I was in this pub yesterday evening, I was appalled at the way the landlady treated one of the staff in front of everyone customers and other staff, to the extent of man handling her. I really felt for the poor girl even though verbally the young girl spoke up for herself. I don't think I will ever go back there and will be telling others the same. Peter26 - 30 Jun 2016 17:57 |

Absolutely lovely pub, good beer, very comfortable with lovely outside and inside area. My only bug bear is that it is hardly ever open. The pub could make so much money if it opened for sporting events as it has 3 large tvs and is a great venue. Sometimes it serves food and other times it doesn't. It seems to open at obscure times. Such a waste of a really great establishment - not sure if its privately run or by the brewery but I wish they would change the timings or even be consistent when they are open and when they are not. Nothing else like this in the area. publover11 - 7 Jun 2012 14:10 |
The Beehive is an excellent choice of pub for anyone wanting a few drinks before and after going to the cricket at the nearby Oval. Despite always nearly being at full capacity on match days there is always enough room in the beer garden out back and the staff's service is very quick. gumbo - 16 Aug 2011 13:38 |
It was packed out after the cricket but staff still did a good job serving. The bar is a square in the middle of a spacious room. There's also a large beer garden. It's neat and tidy and a cross between a pub and wine bar. No real complaints. willesden_seadog - 24 Jun 2011 17:30 |
