The Three Horseshoes, Bourne End

Nearly 2 years since the last review but it still stands,Oldham_Drinker is spot on.

Great location and Superb historical building, this should be a 8 or 9 out of 10 but the poor beer selection lets it down. There are three taps on if they could give one over to one of the many a local breweries or even rotate then it becomes a destination and talked about pub.

Enjoyed the food but there are local places that do better.

The King Charles I, Kings Cross

Have to agree with outamyhead. This was my goto pub in KX. Quiet but with atmosphere and nicely laid out.

Todays visit saw three GK beers on, how disappointing. Years ago you would be guaranteed at least one interesting cask on but now as London pubs are embracing craft and real ale this pub takes a step back.

Still a great layout but sort the beer out. The Queens head needs competitors !
