The Castle Inn, Rhuddlan

This pub is a local pub, which is great if you are a local, that is, someone who was born and bred in the village. If not, you probably would be better giving it a miss.

Town centre pub, food is usual Weatherspoon's fayre, which is not a negative. Always enjoyed meals there, bar staff are good and fast, usually pleasant. There are Doormen at busy periods but they are the new friendly type who are noy at all imposing and the whole place has a comfortable feel with plenty of people enjopying their evening. No ear splitting music of course which is a huge plus.

Yes this pub is frequented by the professional type, but usually lunchtime and early evening. Later on, especially Friday's and the weekend it has a younger feel to it whilst not attracting the rowdy violent type. Gets very busy but bar staff are good, yes they seem imported but are very fast and friendly in my experience. I have always felt comfortable and welcome in this pub which is not something that can be said about most places.
