The only pub in Lewisham town centre that doesn't feel like a town centre pub. Beer is excellent quality.

The Ibex, Chaddleworth

It is the best informal pub food for many miles around. Beer and food are quality and keenly priced.

I have met and chatted with all sorts at the bar in a friendly environment.

The Furze Bush, Ball Hill

Been going there for decades. The landlord will do whatever he can to make it a good evening for you.

The food is up and down depending on who is in the kitchen. The food is reliable rather than good.

Works well for kids, adults, dogs, and all sorts.
