The Quebec, Marble Arch

With half an inch of lager in a pint glass I was approached by a barman (whose command of English was zilch) who insisted that I had underpaid him by 10p??? What was that about? I dont know what is wrong with this pub but it seems you turn up to have a good time and someone always puts the dampers on the proceedings. So confused I couldn't begin to think of a rating.

The Prince of Wales, Holland Park

Gone down hill big time. When it's open (turned up twice in last week and still not open at 12.35, bit annoying when you've arranged to meet people) Avoid the Stella Artois on draught. Thought it was me but several companions agreed that it was iffy to say the least (uncleaned lines?) Very strange policy too on exactly when you can smoke with a drink outside. Big, big shame as potentially a nice place. Oh and don't bother to phone as they never seem to pick up the phone assuming that is that the number listed is correct.
