The George at Wallop, Middle Wallop

Popped in after reading good review in local paper, I remember going there few years ago and wasnt impressed, however the new owners have really turned it around and welcoming.
Was greeted by Lee (landlord) lovely bloke very professional and very nice to talk to, had nice giggle about life.
The ales and choice of wines is really good, local beers from �3.00. About 30 wines and champagnes available.
The menu has choice of starters, mains and BLACK ROCK and desserts
The Black rock is what we had, you actually get a plate with a 400 degree rock in the middle and you cook your steak fish chicken how you klike it, we both loved it.
We had profiteroles and a belgian chocolate orange bombe for pudding and 10/10...
I would reccomend this place for any occasion, quick stop off, relaxing lunch, romantic evening...
