The Greyhound, Old Walls

Forget the previous comments-the pub is now under new management(Chris & Emily are excellent hosts).
There is a wide choice of real ales and their lagers and other beers are of a very high standard.The food is always well presented and also of a high standard. Try some of the home-made specialities(Greyhound chicken,house curries,steak and ale pie and the mouth-watering lasagne).Sunday lunch is always well attended with a choice of three meats(you can even ask for a slice of each!)accompanied by a wide variety of fresh local vegetables.Booking is recommended for most evenings, but is a must at weekends! Expect a wait after you order, but it is well worth it.
In the colder seasons, coal/log fires are a very welcome sight which only adds to the friendly and warm welcome that you will receive.
