The Ship Inn, Noss Mayo

As to this pathetic complaint by miss_magoo2 (magoo, rings any bells?). I have been going to the Ship Inn for many years. I live in SE Cornwall and take the Torpoint Ferry to get to this FANTASTIC INN (paying �1.50 for the privilege). The bar man is human and may have made a grave mistake (we all do at times). Maybe you should have checked the bill again to make sure before leaving and this fuss would not have happened. It is so common and easy for people to complain but to accuse people of trying to do you out of �10? For that money, it is hardly worth it. "Stole" is a very serious accusation! :s
I have always found the pub to serve quality food and friendly service over the years and it is very popular. As to prices, you are in an afluent area of the South Hams, prices are higher as you are getting a premium product. I will not be put off by this complaint and to anyone who is thinking of going to the Ship Inn, go because you will love the atmosphere and food!!!

Atlantic Inn, St Mary's

The Pub changed hands on the 16th July 2007. The new managers are making continual improvements on the quality of service, Beer and food. Real local produce whenever possible and homemade sweets. Season 2008 promises to be a good year!
