A good pub good food and a wide selection served by charming staff. Bags of parking with a municipal car park very near. Close to BSE Abbey gardens. Highly recommended.

The Fox and Hounds, Thurston

A great 'local'. Well managed, great staff, good atmosphere, good selection of beers and reasonable prices. It feels like a part of the community it serves. As a non (ex)smoker I look forward to it becoming smoke free but I hope that doesn,t change it's character.

The Bunbury Arms, Great Barton

If you want a carvery then this is fine. If you want a local meeting point for local residents. It used to be just that but sadly no longer.
