This place could be a goldmine. Instead the landlord seems content to allow a clique to gather at the same place every night, on the corner of the bar by the fruit machines, blocking everyone's way and swearing at the top of their voices. It's one of those places where the bar staff socialise with the gang of foul-mouthed regulars and ignore anyone else. The horrible atmosphere fostered by these chav scum drag the whole place down, a convivial atmosphere isn't aided by gangs of builders shouting swear words at each other as the bar staff titter and simper.

The Cat and Mutton, Hackney

Once, before this pub was gentrified and infested with haircuts that pose as human beings, I witnessed a chap grab a fellow drinker's Man U scarf and carefully wipe his dog's bottom with it.

Happy days.

The place is a travesty now, you couldn't chuck a brick without hiting a middle-class trendy who's showing their parents up from Devon the chirpy cockernee coster-mongers on Columbia Road. They make me sick, and pull your jeans up, cretins.

Lincolns, Leytonstone

Yeah, the cops raided Lincolns undercover. They were offered porn DVDs and crack cocaine. A regular actually volunteered to the cop the fact that the charlie dealer will be in later! This toilet of a pub is dragging Leytonstone downhill fast, the bods hanging around outside make remarks to women and smoke grass openly- it's intimidatory and anti-social. The pub's still open, they have three weeks til appeal.
