John & Brigid are ok. They've been nothing but courteous towards me. I've never known them to be rude to customers, only to each other. The back garden is a lovely place to sit & eat your lunch, which, unlike other pubs, they have no problem with you purchasing elsewhere as like they say they don't do food. I wish more people went there for afternoon drinks, they work hard & deserve more custom. John is getting on a bit now & is actually not very well, I won't hear a word said against him or Brigid, they've been lovely to me.

The Market House Inn, Glastonbury
Visited this pub a while back with my 7 yr old at around 3.30 in the afternoon. They were advertising it as a 'family friendly' pub & had childrens games out on the tables which I thought was a nice touch. However, a couple came in, quite clearly off their heads, played some pool for a bit then had a very loud row, shouting & swearing in front of children. The landlord was present & didn't intervene at all. Sorry but saying you deal with anti-social behaviour then standing idly by & not doing a thing is hypocritical. We left, the rowdy couple stayed. You attract the clientele you deserve. The present owners clearly haven't a clue how to run this place & someone more deserving should take over.

The King William Inn, Glastonbury
The best pub in town. Caroline is a lovely landlady & her staff are always polite & helpful, fantastic music played behind the bar, nice regular customers, lovely atmosphere, a gorgeous back garden & child & dog friendly.
