| Glad to see that the Beckets is unchanged - still welcomes drinkers bringing in takeaways, still does Rosie's Pig cider. There is a good Chinese just up the road - a meal from there eaten with drinks at the Beckets (cutlery and plates provided) is probably a better deal than many of the restaurants in town in the evening. jgurney1 - 2 Jun 2018 20:17 |

| Never been a great lover of Wadsworth's, but the Henry's IPA Was in good form. Very comfortable pub, with a front bar with a nice wood burning stove (and friendly dog!). | In our quest to check the reality of Glastonbury Pubs against the reviews in the Virtual World, we end up here. From the outside, it looked much bigger than from the inside. An inverse Tardis. Wadworths Pub - with three on. I've only previously had 6x, which I like, so I tried the Swordfish. It was superb. Very well kept. Next weekend away - Devizes. Special shout out for the jukebox, with an eclectic choice of home made mix cds and a select that aligns the bonzo Dog Doodah Band next to the best of the Wurzels. Mappiman - 16 Feb 2015 16:26 |
