Ivy House, Chalfont St Giles

The food here is very good. Although you might pay a little more than fast food or 'pub' grub establishments the choice is far superior (and not at all pretentious). My husband had an ostrich dish with the sauce of the day from the specials board and I had a salmon fillet and even though we weren't going to have dessert we took the recommendation of our waiter and shared their famous bread and butter pud and custard. The location is a little out the way but we thought that added to the ambience! well done 10/10
